Holly Webber, Production Trainer at Great Lakes Cheese, is a Safety Hero who looks to equip colleagues with all the tools and resources they need to be safe and healthy.

How did you end up in your role?

I started at Great Lakes Cheese on the production floor. I have worked various positons in production & through hard work, I am now a Production Trainer & on our Safety Committee. I work with employees making sure they receive all the training & the tools that they need to succeed.

What are you passionate about?

My passion is making sure our employees understand the importance of working safe at all times.

What’s important to be effective in your role?

I encourage others to be safety leaders. When training on a new position, employees not only need to learn the job, but all of the safety aspect, too.

What do you think everyone should know about safety?

Safety always first every time. If you see something that looks unsafe, speak up.
