Team is primed to take a leadership position in the first SaaS product to help companies proactively manage workers’ compensation and safety.

Covington, KY– iReportSource, a SaaS solution that provides a digital workspace to proactively manage workers’ compensation and safety, announced the addition of Nancy Koors as COO and Kevin Gerl as CTO, filling out its team with startup veterans.

These additions to the team come at an opportune time for iReportSource as Clyde & Co.’s recently released the Insurance Growth Report, that reports that “94% of insurers expect digital transformation to have the greatest impact on their distribution channels in the next five years. With this strength of consensus, it is not surprising that insurtech (insurance-technology) startups worldwide attracted approximately USD 1.7 billion of investments in 2016.”  In addition, there are regulatory factors that are driving the need for products such as iReportSource.

iReportSource graduated from UpTech’s accelerator program in February and is already building market momentum. “We entered UpTech’s program with product/market fit already, so we’re well positioned to move quickly. With Nancy and Kevin’s experience, we’re only going to accelerate our ability to capitalize on the opportunities,” said Christi Brown, Founder and CEO.

Koors will focus on accelerating the growth of the company and the operations with her extensive experience running digital agencies & technology firms and startup experience at Cintrifuse and as a startup advisor. Gerl will use his experience gained from dotloop, LISNR and Paycor to lead the development team and manage the product.

Koors was initially a member of the Board of Advisors for the company, became an investor and then joined the team full-time. “I was excited about what Christi and Brad were doing as it solves a real market need and they have invaluable domain knowledge.” said Koors.
